Can I download MileageFile yet?
Not yet. MileageFile is in development and has not been submitted to the App Store or Google Play. No release date has been confirmed.
Who is MileageFile being designed for?
Employees using a personal vehicle for work, sole traders, contractors and small business owners who want more organised trip records.
Will trips be recorded automatically?
Manual trip recording is planned. Automatic tracking is being explored; availability, supported devices and location permissions remain to be confirmed.
Can I separate business and personal trips?
Business and personal classification is part of the planned product. You will need to review your entries and choose an appropriate classification.
Will I be able to export my records?
Export is planned. Supported formats, any limits and the exact steps will be documented before release.
Does this determine my tax deduction?
No. MileageFile is designed to help you maintain organised mileage records. Always confirm your tax obligations and record-keeping requirements with a registered tax professional.
